Cast iron cookware advantages

Cast iron pots and pans are ideal for slow cooking and low heat.

The cast iron pots cook evenly and to perfection all foods: from vegetables, to meat or fish. They are perfect for roasts, stews, braised meats, soups.

They can be used on induction, gas, oven or barbecue cookers.

Maintenance of cast iron cookware

Use small quantity of detergent to prevent deteriorating the coating. Avoid steel wool pads and abrasive pads.

Cast iron cookware should be stored in a dry place to avoid rust formation.

Since the surface is porous, the cast iron pot can retain odors. To eliminate bad odors, you can boil water with a glass of vinegar or baking soda
